One photo, three possible links

An album photo on Yupoo is only the shop window. The item behind it is usually listed for sale on one of three Chinese platforms: Weidian, Taobao or 1688. Searches show people trying to connect them: “1688 yupoo” (about 190 a month), “taobao yupoo” and “weidian yupoo” (120 each), “dhgate yupoo” (120) and “yupoo aliexpress” (130), plus “yupoo umi1688” (about 1,300), which is a seller's album name rather than the platform. Weidian: where most album sellers check out

Weidian is a mobile storefront platform that lets small sellers open a shop quickly. Many album sellers keep a Weidian shop with the same products, priced in yuan, sometimes with deliberately vague titles. Album folders often show a weidian.com link or a short code the seller can match. Weidian pages are in Chinese and need a Chinese account and payment, which is why foreign buyers use an agent to open them.

Taobao: the big marketplace

Taobao is Alibaba's consumer marketplace. Some album sellers mirror their best items there; others never use it, because listings face stricter takedowns. Taobao links work in every major agent. If you have a Taobao link from an old spreadsheet, the item ID in the address is what an agent needs.

1688: factory wholesale

1688 is Alibaba's domestic wholesale site, where factories and trading companies list goods by the batch. Album sellers often source there. Buying on 1688 can be cheaper per piece but usually means minimum quantities, unclear sizing and less help in English. Superbuy lists no purchasing fee for standard 1688 orders. For bulk buyers, it is worth knowing; for one hoodie, it rarely is.

DHgate and AliExpress: ship-direct alternatives

DHgate and AliExpress are export marketplaces that ship straight to you with buyer protection and English pages. People compare them with Yupoo because both host many of the same styles. The trade-off: fewer real photos, more generic listings, and protections that apply only under those platforms' own dispute rules. Album sellers sometimes open DHgate stores too, which is why “dhgate yupoo” is searched.

Weidian and Taobao links need an agent; DHgate and AliExpress ship directly but with fewer real photos.

Reading a link: where the item ID hides

• Weidian: the number after “itemID=” in weidian.com/item.html.
• Taobao: the number after “id=” in item.taobao.com addresses.
• 1688: the number in detail.1688.com/offer/NUMBER.html.
• Agent links from dead agents (CNFans, ACBuy, Pandabuy) usually contain one of these IDs and a platform name; paste the full link into a working agent, which converts most of them.
