Why people search for “Pika V2”
About 110 people a month in the US type “pika v2 yupoo”, and autocomplete adds “pika v2 sp5der”. The search usually starts after an album link stops loading or after someone in a comment section says “use V2”. There are two very different things behind that label: a genuine backup album opened by the same seller, and look-alike albums that borrow a known name. Telling them apart takes about five minutes if you know what to compare.
Why album sellers open backup albums
Yupoo restricts or removes albums that receive complaints, and sellers whose main album gets hidden or password-locked often open a second one so customers can keep browsing. Some sellers also split stock, keeping hoodies in one album and denim or shoes in another. GOAT, for example, runs a second album that third-party lists describe as focused on Syna and Broken Planet styles, and Yolo66 has Yolo88. So a second album is normal; the question is only whether it is really the same seller.
Five checks for a Pika backup album
- Where was it announced? A real backup is announced in a channel the seller already controls, such as its existing Discord server or the front page of the first album. A link that only appears in a random comment is not proof.
- Does the numbering match? Sellers reuse their own product codes and folder naming. Open three items you know from the first album and compare the codes.
- Are the photos the same shoot? Look at backgrounds, hangers, floor tiles and watermarks. Copied albums often re-upload photos with a new watermark pasted over the old one.
- Are the prices similar? Backups rarely cut prices sharply. A V2 album that is 40 % cheaper is a red flag.
- How does it want to be paid? If the new contact pushes gift cards, crypto upfront or a “membership fee” for a password, walk away.
A real V2 matches the original's codes, photos and prices and is announced by the seller itself.
What we know about Pika's albums
We can confirm one address, pikachushop.x.yupoo.com, promoted by the seller on Reddit in July 2024 together with a Discord invite. We could not verify a separate “Pika V2” album announced by the seller through those channels at the time of writing (30 October 2026). That does not mean none exists; it means we will not point you at one we cannot trace to the seller. If you find a V2 link, run it through the five checks above before sending anyone money.
V2 can also mean a newer version of a design
In streetwear, “V2” is also part of product names: a second version of a graphic or a colourway. When people search “pika v2 sp5der”, some of them are looking for a newer hoodie design, not a new album. If that is what you want, the quickest route is to send us the photo; we check whether our partner factories have that version or a close one, and show you real photos before you pay. Our Pika hoodies page explains how to compare prints and sizes across versions.
Safer ways to keep shopping when an album disappears
- Save product codes and screenshots, not just links. If an album vanishes, the code helps the seller or any agent find the listing again.
- Keep the Weidian or Taobao links you already bought from. Those listings often survive when the album does not, and any working agent can open them, as explained on Yupoo, Taobao, Weidian and 1688.
- Do not chase password lists. The password guide explains why.
- Use our gallery above: every tile is a real photo with a price, and the green button sends us the item reference directly.
Searches for backup and V2 albums add up to about 130 a month across the six markets we track, and US searches most (110). 26 keyword variants in the data mention backup and V2 albums; the biggest are below (monthly Semrush volumes, 30 October 2026).

Behind each of those searches is the same worry: the album you trusted has moved. Seller albums come and go; your order history, codes and photos are what protect you. If you would rather not depend on an album at all, our door-to-door service works from a screenshot and a size.
Summary
“Pika V2” is a label, not a guarantee. Trust a backup album only when it traces back to the seller's own channels and matches the original in codes, photos and prices. Otherwise, treat it as a stranger's album. And if what you wanted was the V2 version of a design rather than a new album, ask us for real photos and a price; every item stays under 100 USD or 100 EUR and ships free from three pieces.
